Frequently Asked Questions

  • How can I book you for my wedding?

    • To secure a date, a signed bridal contract and a 20% non-refundable deposit are required. This deposit will be put toward the total balance. The remaining balance will be due 7 days before the day of the event. Accepted forms of payment include: Zelle, Venmo, and Cashapp.

  • Why does bridal makeup and hair cost more?

    • It is so important for your look to be flawless and the least of your concerns when it comes to your special day. This is why an hour and a half is set aside for each of these services whereas bridal party makeup and hair is 45 minutes per person. You get double the time! With bridal makeup, airbrush makeup and a touchup kit for the day are included to ensure long lasting perfection.

  • What is your travel fee?

    • The travel fee is a minimum of $25 for the first 20 miles then $0.62 per mile, total trip plus tolls and parking. If any unexpected costs are incurred such as not anticipating parking charges, this will be collected before departure. (It may be a good idea to have someone designated to take care of these circumstances to avoid stress on yourself). Sleeping accommodations may be required if the location is more than an hour and a half away with an early start for a large party.

  • How many services can you do?

    • I can do 10 services back to back but since appointments are at least 45 minutes and timing is usually limited, you may need to hire an additional artist for a large party. I can try to reach out to my personal pool of artist but it is not guaranteed that they will be available.

  • Do I need a trial?

    • Unless you are a bride, a trial is not necessary. As for bridal, it is often a good idea to do a trial since sometimes the look you wanted at first can change when you see it on yourself. It also gives us a good reading of how your skin is and how we can prep it so it gives the best application for the day of.

  • As a destination bride, what do I cover and what services will you do?

    • The bride is responsible for covering travel costs including but not limited to the following costs: flight, lodging (same premises as bridal party is required), baggage fees, transport to/from airport. Day-of bridal makeup and hair pricing is charged at a day rate of $1000. The bride has full access to her makeup artist for a full 8 hours on her special day. Often times destination weddings take place outdoors, in warm and humid regions so this service includes the luxury of the makeup artist by her side from the initial application to touch ups pending the start time to ensure a picture perfect finish! Bridal party services are separate.

  • I'm a South Asian bride, is there a difference in price?

    • Absolutely not! Everyone deserves to book services that are in their price range. I do not charge extra simply because you are a south asian bride. Simply book for all the services that you need. If you need a separate look the ceremony and a separate look for reception then you would book for 2 bridal hair and/or makeup. If you are in need for additional day services for events like pithi, mehendi, jago, etc. then it is to your discretion if you would like to book it as a soft glam, full glam, or bridal makeup service. We can definitely discuss it! I do not, however, do sari draping services. Lengha draping for bride only is $25 per outfit. If you are a destination bride and want to multiple looks then we will discuss what can be done to avoid extra charges.
